Canton man sentenced for Columbiana County burglary

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - A former Canton resident was sentenced in Columbiana County for breaking into a home in East Liverpool.
31-year-old William Jacquet will spend the next four to six years in prison for burglary and tampering with evidence.
On November 11, East Liverpool officers were called to a home in the city, where the victim showed officers security footage of a burglary.
The cameras showed Jacquet and another suspect enter the victim's garage, steal multiple items, and then flee the scene in a vehicle.
Shortly after, Ohio State troopers pulled the vehicle over for a traffic stop, and found the stolen property, as well as a glass pipe.
The second suspects case is still pending.
